Fog is something we are having to get used to here. In the last couple of weeks it has been rather cold. So much so that over the weekend I almost bought a jacket in Abu Dhabi as I hadn't packed one (I mean, I'm in the desert!), I have since realised that the temp can plummet here and this results in fog and somewhat chilly conditions!
Now we leave for school at around 5h45 in the morning to start our commute to work. Sometimes it is so bad that we do t leave until 7am - which is great for a little lie in! :) Today should have been one of those days as it is 09h35am and still very foggy however NO ONE let us know there was fog here so we had to drive through it to get to school. Now I'm not complaining however there was a crazy accident a few mornings ago on another highway involving 69 cars.
So this is scary! We hope and pray that this never happens again or to any of us.
Another issue with the fog is that the kids can't get to school as the busses cannot drive because it is too dangerous. So sitting here now in period 4, with only 3 periods remaining there are NO kids at school.
So what have I done today:
Loving this country and the wonderful people I have met. Until next time, I will leave you with just some of the images/videos of the fog.

A TimeLapse shot from my dash on the way to school.
